Rachmaninoff, Concerto n° 2

Often regarded as the king of piano concertos, Rachmaninoff’s Second Concerto unfolds a rare emotional tension, oscillating between tragic darkness and incandescent lyricism. Nelson Goerner will bring a deeply considered pianistic approach, followed by a discussion with the audience about the work's history and interpretative choices.
