Yuja Wang has established herself as an outstanding pianist worldwide through her playing and charisma. In the rhythmically energetic First Piano Concerto by Béla Bartók, she engages in a tension-filled dialogue with the orchestra, particularly with the percussion instruments. Bartók, according to Wang, created a unique sound world. In contrast, Johannes Brahms' Serenade No. 1, inspired by the Viennese classical style, is light in tone, dance-like in gesture, and infused with a cheerful, romantic atmosphere.
