Polyphony is ultimately a reflection on memory, with Mauro Lanza and Clara Iannotta exploring the vagueness of memory in their own ways. Lanza creates a sense of déjà vu between disorientation and nostalgia, while Iannotta contemplates the elusiveness of memory after loss. Fabien Lévy pays homage to the music of Central African communities threatened by the climate crisis, and Noriko Baba transforms medieval animal allegories into sound.
