“John Powell (born 18 September 1963) is an English music composer and music conductor. Based in Los Angeles, California since 1997, Powell has composed music for over 70 feature films, including Face/Off, the Bourne franchise, Happy Feet and its sequel Happy Feet Two, United 93, X-Men: The Last Stand, Wicked and its sequel Wicked: For Good, Evolution, Drumline, Hancock, The Call of the Wild, Bolt, That Christmas, Thelma the Unicorn, Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie, ten DreamWorks Animation films, eight Blue Sky Studios films and three Illumination films.”
