The new season in Bamberg starts with the pulsating piece 'Helix' by Esa-Pekka Salonen, followed by Schubert's Symphony No. 8, which leads us into a 'completely new world' according to Robert Schumann. The concert also features Prokofiev's Second Piano Concerto, which was first performed by the composer himself.
