The concert features dramatic energy and orchestral ingenuity in Dvořák's Scherzo capriccioso, followed by Alban Berg's deeply moving Violin Concerto performed by Isabelle Faust. The evening concludes with Schubert's monumental Symphony No. 8 in C major, D 944.
