Verdi: Requiem

Verdi’s Requiem stands alongside Mozart’s in a class of its own: written by a genius, overwhelmingly grand yet surprisingly intimate, traversing the entire spectrum of human emotion. This concert features the Brussels Philharmonic and Vlaams Radiokoor under the direction of Kazushi Ono, performing one of the most famous religious works in history, a tribute to the poet Alessandro Manzoni.
