Olivier Messiaens Quatuor pour la fin du temps, written in German captivity during the war, is one of the most important chamber works of the 20th century. It is performed amid Night, an exhibition by Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan, recipient of the 2026 Preis der Nationalgalerie.
