Cherry Town is a comical musical spectacle for the whole family. In this new production by De Nationale Opera, directed by Jakop Ahlbom, a colorful cast of singers and dancers comes together. It is the only operetta – cheerier and lighter than a classical opera – by composer Dmitri Shostakovich. The Nederlands Philharmonisch provides live music, conducted by Bassem Akiki.
